Nearest locations with latitude and longitude?

Assuming you get $lat and $long as latitidue/longitude of your starting point.

One approach is to take your input lat/long pair, create a range, then query for all records that fall in that range.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
