Generally wholesalers sell wholesale to their retailer who mark up the product to make a profit. You shoudl have an agreement to protect you. Not a good thing when the wholesaler also sells retail... they can undercut you everytime... you cannot compete with them.

There should be an agreement that gives you a definite area/region as your working area (that they cannot sell too)... then if they get a request for produce they will refer that customer to you. The wholesaleer should only retain in areas where they don't have a retailer that can supply product or they are competing themselves right out of business. Say something to them.
