I ended up in the ER with chest pains and shortness of breath, not a heart problem. I also had problems breathing when I was lying in bed trying to sleep. My son called me, I gave him the symptoms and said it sounded like what his father in law had.

I asked the doc and he said that could be it. I take an OTC generic of Prylosek from Costco (50Cents a day) and the problem is gone. Funny that a battery of docs couldn't figure it out but my son knew as soon as I told him the symptoms.

For some reason the docs don't think of GIRD. I went through thousands of dollars of tests a few years ago for the same symptoms and they couldn't figure it out. My son figured it out as soon as I gave him the symptoms and when I told the doc they said "that could cause it".

The father in law went into the hospital 2 weeks ago today and died Monday. One of the problems is the GIRD had put so much acid on his lungsand damaged them that he couldn't breathe.

3 A week ago Tuesday I went in the hospital from work with terrible chest pain and I couldn't catch a breath. After several hours they determined that it was not my heart. They did a CT Scan and other tests and did not find what was wrong.

I still don't feel well and am going for further tests this next Monday. Don't take a chance get it checked out. This user has been banned from Askville.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
