Problem with external portable hard drive (seagate goflex 500gb)?

You only paid $50 for that drive?! That's the problem. That Seagate must be a refurb for that price.

Check the connection cables for the external hardrive, once you have done this try going into the bios screen at boot up and see if the ext hd is showing up there, if it is then continue to windows, then once everything booted, go to start menu, right click on my computer, properties, hardware, device manager, go up to the name of your pc highlight it then scan for hardware changes ( a little monitor with a spyglass ) this will then scan for any new hardware. Check to see if the ext hd has been detected. If none of this works check you have cables connected correctly or try booting without ex hd, shutdown pc add ex hd and boot again to see if that works.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
