Assuming you've mounted the drive, you may have to access your files through the software that came with your Seagate drive. It sounds like you chose to encrypt your backed up files on the drive, which means you will have to supply a password in Seagate's software to access any of them. If you can't find the software under Finder>Applications, then look for it in the hard drive's root directory.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
