Should I upgrade my Nikon D3000 to a Nikon D5100?

You have valid reasons to replace your camera. Lucky is the one who receives your D3000.

If you have got someone to take your d3000 and you can use the extra features, go ahead. Otherwise, there isn't much wrong with the d3000. It is capable of stunning pictures when used correctly.

In my view, the D5100 is not enough of a step up from your D3000. Sure the sensor has a higher megapixel count, and it will do video, but not much else. If it were me, I'd want to step up to a D7000 as that gives you many more features, such as ability to focus all Nikon AF lenses, ability to control speedlights remotely, and many more things.

Upgrading to a D5100 still keeps you in the entry-level camera range with a limited feature set.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
