You may have a user running a dedicated spam sending program (ratware) to send directly from your server. These programs do not use any mailserver facilities on your server - specifically to avoid detection. They are usually named something innocuous like "mailform.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
