Ted Kennedy—hero or villain? He was "Lion of the Senate" but also got in a drunken car accident that led to a woman's death in 1969?

Villain. S friend says he liked to joke about Chappaquiddick, which is unbelievably evil. It's one thing to panic and let a young lady die in your car, and then lie about it to try and stay out of trouble, we all do things we aren't proud of.

But to joke about a young woman's death, a young woman who died in your car? I can't even get my mind around that.

No matter how great one man seems over others your can not ingore what is put in front of your face denial becomes an evil. These days it is even more clear that these persons who think they are above "We The People" can get away with anything. It is become a daily event for them, it is just assame that there are good but the bad a bringing them down.

We The People: When such injustices are being plagued upon "We The People" all should be knowledgeable of such information. "We The People" vote and put into offices individuals we trust, expect to be honest, true of their words and to protect all with fairness and equality. It seems these days the brotherhood of government employees protect each other to any extent and at any cost to "We The People".

These individuals feel that because they are to protect the law, they are the law. They do whatever it takes to protect each other from having their great names tarnished and keep each other out of the trouble they are in. Only, they are building a pyramid of conspirators, a work of art called ":Government Corruption" something we have been hearing a lot lately.

Sooner thsn laster this pyramid will tumble and "We The People" will be responsible to re-build the government. Hopefully it will be built with true, good, honest people. Until this time we must stand together and not participate in their cover-ups, letting them know, we are not blind but in fact our eyes are wide open.

Lion of the Senate. He had a way of getting people to work together for a common goal. Chappaquidick was an accident.

Back bench brother in a mafia connected corrupt political family. Definetally NOT a hero.

Lion of the senate, he did a lot of good for a lot of people, he cared about people. My late grandmother was a party activist and met this guy from time to time and said he was easy to get along with in private and was respectful unlike some others that that are more revered than him. He did not have to do what he did, he came from wealth and privilege, often when you come from that type of background you don't always have a connection with the average person and this man did.

Others would not have done as much. Did he have problems? Yes of course, but who doesn't?

The good definitely outweighs the bad. Its not like he was Mormon born into wealth and privilege and gets off on taking companies private, fires the workers, wreaks lives and laughs about it. Or shoots a friend in the face and acts as if he did nothing wrong.

If you go back to what he said of the 1969 incident you can see he knew what he did was wrong, I can think of some conservatives that refuse to admit they did anything wrong.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
