I'm hoping we'll all trip on DMT after a geo-magnetic reversal---or at least wake up from this hell when the power goes out. I mean, honestly, how long will we ignore the suffering in half of the world? Are we that selfish?

You express some fine sentiments (apart from the god stuff) with which no one would disagree - but dreams rarely, if ever, come true. My role, as I believe is to simply be a descent human being, try to do no harm, and it doesn't hurt along the way to offer my friendship ...I can't save the planet, I'm neither rich nor poor, but I can make sure that people around me are doing o.k. , sometimes my encouragement is in the form of a hug, handshake, I have bought groceries for others, in the line at the grocery store, the other day, a lady was $8 dollars short, she was trying to decide what to put back, I steppped up and gave the cashier $10 bucks, I didn't do that to be seen as somebodies hero, I didn't do that to cause this lady embarassment, I did that because I have stood in her very shoes...Lisa.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
