To overcome binge eating, do you gradually get back to normal eating, quit cold turkey, or do w/e works 4 u?

Binge eating, or emotional eating (emotional eating is a far better word for it) comes from unreleased feelings. It is nothing to do with how good the food tastes. Emotional eating comes from the fact that person going through the binge has feelings that have not been released and the food acts as comfort and lets the person forget about these hidden issues.

Usually issues from childhood, feelings of being unloved, or unsuccessful, or abused. It is like an alcoholic. The reason why they drink is because they have hidden feelings that have not been addressed, so they drink to suppress these feelings.It is better to quit cold turkey, but also find the roots into why you are binging.

It is get counselling, they can help you uncover those hidden feelings.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
