Today I am at 79 score. I haven't seen this since I joined a year ago. Are there people out there?

Sandy,I know of you and especially your work on Squidoo, and your highly regarded there. May I just ask that what is more important at this time, your current Hub score? Or the 58 hubs (and most likely more to come) that provide information, insight and value to your readers?

Just a thought, as I would hate to see good people with great investment of valued time and information decide to just 'go and delete.

Admin has replied repeatedly to people who claims their scores are falling due to down votes that the thumbs down are an extremely small portion of what goes into HubScore and that such concerns are unfounded. What is your traffic like? Have you checked in Analytics to see how your Hubs are trending?

Have you figured in that it is summertime in the US and that many people don't spend as much time online? Are you writing topics that have specific summer appeal?

Sandy, you write great hubs with lots of variety. I can't imagine anyone voting down. On the other hand, I don't have a clue about how these numbers are created, and I don't really care.

Write great stuff, spread it to other sites, and who cares what your score is as long as people are reading?

I don't see anything in your Hub titles that would cause people to vote you down. Even though you are down to 79, that is still good enough to have links on your Hubs remain "follow" rather than "nofollow". While an author score in the 80s and 90s is nice, it is traffic and clicks that are meaningful to a "netpreneur".

Try that new page interlinking tool (HubKarma) that HubPages started a short time ago.

I have been here less then a year, so mine moves up down and around. First I believe you almost need to write daily to keep it up, next I read in Hubpages, your score will improve if you get more involved in hubpages, forums, questions, help others, heck I am not really sure, each time I think I figure it out, my score drops without a doubt. Thank you everyone for the advice. I have been using the forums more, helping people out when they email me questions, comment on hubs, give plenty of thumbs ups, etc. I don't write a hub every day, but I do think I offer quality hubs. I do know that it is the outside traffic that counts.

But if a stranger comes to HubPages, they will not see you featured unless your score is up there. I think I need to work on Keywords. Even when I think I finally get it.

OK, no more worrying about scores. Just keep on keeping on.

Sandyspider, There ARE people out here and we are glad you decided to join us on this bright and lovely (though a bit windy) day. At least that is how it is in this part of New England. Hope you are having a wonderful in your part of the world and hope you know, people do care.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
