Your sound card capabilities and the program are needed to answer. The quality of your sound card affects the sound. Any good computer interface such as a Presonus audiobox ect has mic pres and could take a $99.00 condenser mic which would increase quality.

A few computers have fairly decent sound cards in which you have to look at how the inputs are configured. The program used to capture your vocal is important as well. Mac or PC?

Sound card? Program that will be used to record? SM58's can be used but at $100.00 there are many decent inexpensive condenser mics which will improve clarity if you have an interface with mic pres and phantom power to power the mic.

Also the computer used should have a hard drive that spins at 7200 rpm as well. More info please.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
