A few corrections: Actually, the Bible texts are Iron Age, not Bronze Age. Check your history. Second, the notions that (a) God condemns anyone at all to hell, (b) hell is an eternity of torment, and (c) all non-Christians go to hell are all non-Biblical and highly suspect.

For (a) and (c), I provide quotes below from one of the most prominent Christian apologists of the last century. For (b), I simply challenge anyone to come up with any Biblical reference to eternity or continual torment in hell that actually applies to real human beings, as opposed to archetypal figures like rebellious angels (2 Peter 2) or allegorical figures of the Apocalypse. So you are arguing against a certain part of Christianity that for some reason tries to operate as a "protection" racket.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
