Many ideas The Albright-Knox art museum is one of my favorite art museums ever. It has a beautiful Greek style porch, and outstanding modern and impressionist collections. You could go to the Buffalo Zoo.
It's a smaller zoo, but still very nice. Then you could walk around Delaware Park. If you're there during the summer, check out Shakespeare in the Park.
The Niagara Falls Aquarium is small but a hit especially with young toddlers. There are penguins and sea lions and what made my niece's day: Nemo (clown) fish! While at the falls, check out Goat Island (a great view from the very top most edge of the falls), the Cave of the Winds (a walking tour up close to the falls), and the Maid of the Mist (a boat tour to the bottom of the falls).
Seneca Niagara Casino is very close to the falls if you feel the need to drop a few buck at the slots or craps tables (or who knows, maybe win a few bucks! ) Their buffet is quite good, as is the steakhouse. You can drive (or even walk across a bridge) into Canada.
The area is called Clifton Hill. If we're being honest, the view of the falls is better from Canada. There's lot of cheesy fun touristy stuff to do in the area, although I haven't been in years so I'm not sure what specifically to recommend...just check out the website for ideas.
There used to be a Harry Houdini museum that was AWESOME, but it's no longer there (and geez, it apparently burned down I discovered in searching for a link for you) :( You could even head up to Toronto for a day as it's only about a 2 hour drive from Buffalo. Buffalo has a lot of really beautiful architecture, including a number of houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Here's one example of an architecture driving tour.
Lastly, when you're in Buffalo, you have to get chicken wings. The Anchor Bar is where chicken wings were invented. However, if you ask me, Duff's wings are far superior.
Just don't forget, chicken wings are to be eaten with BLUE CHEESE dressing, not ranch! Ted's Grilled Hot Dogs are another not-to-be-missed Buffalo food, as is a beef on weck sandwich at some place like Anderson's. A not-quite-as-famous, but the thing I HAVE to have whenever I go to Buffalo, is a chicken finger sub from John's pizza.
Have fun! Sources: Years of living in Buffalo, and sites linked in text What_A_Card's Recommendations I Love Buffalo, New York Mug .
1 I second the "original" Buffalo wings at Anchor Bar - yummy! I got their sauce and tried it at home and it was just not as good as how they make it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
