What could be the problem if your 1989 Labaron shifts hard and sometimes doesn't shift down at all?

Get the tranny warm with a 1/2 hour drive. Drain and replace the transmission fluid with fresh. This will need to be done 3-5 times over a few weeks to "gently" clean 20 years worth of junk out of the unit.

During the last change drop the pan and replace the filter. I bet after the first change the tranny feels much better.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
