In Germany there are simply the facts being reported In Germany the only thing regularily reported is the intermediate results in the race between Obama and Clinton. Beside that only John McCain is reported as the one who is winning most of the elections and is most likely the candidate for the republicans. Anybody else is simply not existing. No Ron Paul, who I only know because I listen to the podcast "The Daily Source Code" by Adam Curry and Mike Huckabee I don't know at all, so has never been mentioned in the german media as I'm aware of.

The future of foreign relations will not be dependent at this moment from the result of the pre-elections. Eight years ago, there was no impact on the relations between Germany and the USA even with the quite foul way the president has been "elected". Only the actions of that particular president lead to the international effects.

The same will be with the new president, so don't worry about that at this moment. Sources: My opinion .

I don't know, & to a certain extent I don't care. It is our country & he have to live with that person & pay taxes to pay his/her salary. I really don’t want the opinion of every village idiot from around the world. As with anything else, I would consider the source.

If it is the President Basir (or whatever the title) of the Sudan and he wants to talk about human rights, STFU. If Castro or little Kim Jong want to talk about free & fair electionx, STFU. The US was blamed for the failure of the League of Nations because we didn’t join, they US has been blamed for a great deal because we joined the UN.

Sometimes you can’t win. **However, if you base your opinion of those wishing to enter the US legally or illegally; my thought is they would like to be here so they could vote. ** I guess it all depends on how the questions are phrased & which people are asked the questions.

I really don't have proof. I am not sure how to prove my subject heading is correct, but it is my opinion. Those wishing to enter the US is anecdotal evidence, but it should be a good indicator.

1 I don't have any proof, but my sense is they are probably thinking what most Americans now know--that any of these will be a huge improvement over the President we have now.
