Go Sunday, or even better, Monday night. Theaters are least crowed Sun-Thurs. If that's not possible buy your tickets early or online that way you can avoid the lines.
Arrive early (+15min) so you get the seat you want. As far as the crowds; its a Friday night so there will be crowds but if you get the seats you want you don't notice as much. Take a game to pass the time before the movie actually starts.
I tend toward the latest matinee show not only to avoid crowds it also saves money. In the choice between 8:15 and 10pm my intuition tells me the 10 would have less crowds.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
