What is the best way to straighten my hair from home?

I have some suggestions when it comes to straighten your hair from home. First, invest in a good flat iron. This is one of those things that you do want to spend time finding a flat iron that gets hot and works well.

Rusk Ceramic Irons are my favorite choice for awesome flat irons. I have unruly hair that is hard to straighten. The nice thing about the Rusk hot iron is there are temp settings so we use a low setting for my daughter and a higher setting for myself.

Next, make sure to have a hair serum that you can use before and after straightening. I like Rusk Sea Kelp Hair Serum. Apply to dry hair.

Now section all of your hair up in a ponytail on top of your head. Start at the bottom of your hair and leave about 3/4 to 1" of hair down. Straighten that hair perfectly and then pull another small section down.

The key is to do small section by small section. Work your way up the head. When done apply more serum to smooth the hair and seal the ends.
