Legal pretext - none. Sales tax just keeps the poverty limit constant. Taxing the poor is far more profitable than taxing the rich.

If people do not like high sales tax move to North Dakota they actually flaunt it to populate the state.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
