What kind of art classes should I take if I want to become a tattoo artist?

The best classes for an aspiring tattoo artist is any classes that will hone the skills you already have. To be one of the best like some of those featured on various TV shows you will need to be proficient in shadowing and light. You will also need to know how shadowing and colors will appear on every type of skin tone.

Therefore it will be important to know how to reverse create a drawing so it can be translated on the customer’s skin. Knowledge about the body, blood, tissue and how they can react with the inks and scaring can be extremely helpful. So, biology and anatomy classes could prove to be beneficial.
