What kind of usb flash drive is compatible with xbox 360?

All usb flash drives are compatible, once you insert it into the xbox it will convert the usb into only storing xbox memory. If you ever want it to store other memory other than for an xbox you just need to put it into your computer and it will revert it back to normal.

You can use any USB flash drive as a memory unit for your Xbox 360, but I'm pretty sure it has to be over 2GB. And yes Ivan, you can download DLC on to the device.
