What other GI disorders are associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)?

It is not unusual to have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), in addition to another gastrointestinal (GI) problem, such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. In fact, a third of those individuals with ulcerative colitis and over half of those with Crohn's also have IBS. Crohn's or ulcerative colitis patients sometimes experience gas, bloating, diarrhea or constipation even when they are technically in remission (no active inflammation).

Many of my overweight patients have gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or Barrett's esophagus, in addition to IBS.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
