What's the difference between British Isles, Great Britain and United Kingdom?

The full name of our country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Therefore, the UK would the more accurate shortened version as GB would not include NI. The British Isles is a geographical term which includes the whole of the island of Ireland, I believe.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
