When did libraries start using rubber stamps to indicate the book belonged to them. As I sit labeling books with a rubber stamp and stamp pad, I wonder when this process began in libraries? Asked by dhaber 49 months ago Similar questions: libraries start rubber stamps book belonged Society.

1908 One thing that I can help with is that stamp pads first became available for use in 1908.
That's a good question. I know that I've seen circulating books from the 19th century with the library's name embossed on some pages. Naturally ink stamping is just as permanent and faster, so I would imagine they switched to that in the early 20th century.
1 Just a guess, but I think about as long as we have had printing. How about those devices that make words by puching tiny holes in the paper? When were those invented?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
