When I download the amazon mp3 player and click on the file, it just asks me to download it again and again! Help?

When I download the amazon mp3 player and click on the file, it just asks me to download it again and again! Help! This is what the file looks like.

AmazonMP3Installer.1.2D0D17When I click on it, it asks me to either save or open. If I open it a browser opens up, asking me to save the EXACT SAME FILE I am trying to open. If I click save, it tries to save the EXACT same file I originally clicked on.

Nothing installs. Nothing. I've already called amazon and they couldn't give me any useful advice.

This issue has been going on for about a month now.

4 Fix from Amazon MP3 Help desk for Ubuntu 10.4 and Amazon MP3 Downloader no longer working: the . AMZ file no longer a known file type in Mozilla Firefox, go to Preferences --> Privacy and click on the "Remove Individual Cookies" option, type Amazon in the Search field to filter search results, find and select the MP3 Downloader cookie and click Remove. Reload the download page and click the "Try Again" button.

Works like a charm - no downloading individual MP3s from Amazon.
