When you tell people that you enjoy going on Askville, do they mistake what you're saying. Okay, I tell people at work that I like to go to the website Askville and look at the questions there. More than once, I've gotten either a giggle or a blank stare, then the other person has explained that they thought I said Assville.

Now, I'm not young, not a horndog, and I don't talk sex at work, ever. So I'm thinking this must be a common problem. Has it happened to you?

Yes I told a friend about how much I liked a site called Askville. Well, that was several weeks ago. Today, I showed him this site, & he was surprised.

He thought I was talking about a site called Ask.com. I don't think he took a liking to it. He didn't say too much.

I doubt if he'll get into this site like me. But then, he works about 10 hours a day. And when he does get a day off, he has his own things that he likes to do.

But, I've made some great friends. And I enjoy it. But, I have told a couple people.

Everyone is into My Space.com. I don't like that site very much. That's just me..

2 When I first heard of Askville, I thought it was a ridiculous name like Toonville or something. It just seemed really really corny. Actually, it still does, come to think of it.

Its a strange name and I would probably react the same way as your co-workers if you mentioned it to me and I hadn't heard of it. I'm almost ashamed to mention it to my friends. Askville.

I mean it sounds like some place in a book you'd read to nursery school kids. "Then the Barny the Bunny went to Askville"....I really wish they'd upgrade the name to something that sounds more adult.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
