1. They're livestock, city ordinance bans them inside city limits due to sanitation issues. 2.
Pigs continue to grow for their first 5 years of life. They can and often do top out over 500 lbs. They NEVER stay teacup size.
3. The males need their tusks removed, not an easy or cheap thing for a vet to do. 4.
Pig feces stinks worse than human poop. 5. Rescues for them are full up.
Standard animal shelters will NOT take pigs, neither will animal control. If you have to get rid of the pig it's going to be nearly impossible to place it anywhere.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
