Thanks, Carla; and indeed, that is the problem. Trying to follow all those 'rules' has stuff scattered everywhere in my small kitchen. I wonder if anyone just doesn't follow them and stacks everything together?

I keep potaotoes, onions and garlic together in a bin in a cabinet. Banannas and fruit that I'm going to eat in a few days in a bowl on the counter. Most everything else goes in the fridge crisper.

I also don't buy more than I can use in a week or two that way there is minimum spoilage.

Some are in the refrigerator, some are on the counter, some are on the table. We get around to eating them eventually.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
