We are still in the arms of t.s. Irene and I made a huge lasagna. Seemed like a good stormy day food.
Made it first thing this morning. Also bought some fruit and veggies to snack on as well as deli meats and cheese.
I was on the west coast during this flood, but I have lots of family and friends from NY to Virginia. I was surprised more people didn't stock up on emergency type foods, foods that wouldn't go bad without electricity. If I were stocking up for a big storm, I would get lots of canned food.
I would get soups that I could fathom eating cold, cereal, and other things that are hermetically sealed.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
