Stay at the Charles Hotel. It's great and right by Harvard and the T. I've stayed there before and I've been to a wedding there.It's a fantastic hotel - very swanky.

The Eliot Hotel In my opinion, the Eliot is the best hotel in Boston. It is centrally located near downtown Boston and the service there is impeccable. As a boutique hotel, it is smaller than the chain franchises that first come to mind such as the Park Plaza, or the Four Seasons.

These too, are great accomodations in Boston, but the intimacy of the Eliot and it’s restaurant Clio makes it my choice to recommend to visitors to my hometown!
