First of all bush and obama shouldnt even be in the same sentence. If you have never worked with or in the government you wouldnt know anything about how the system works. Such things like the oil spill cant be solved with a flip of a switch.
These things take time and consideration to have a plan that actually is effective. So saying oh do this or oh do that might have other repracutions tht affect the environment as well.
No I can prove who is at fault and it is not BP either. I will not say it was Bush's or directly the Federal Government's fault but you must follow the logic. A group of people in this country did and continue to not want shallow water of shore drilling because if there is a spill then oil will spoil the coastline.
This group fought for Governmental regulations pushing the drilling into deep water. They push the wells so far off shore that the risk of an accident was not understood or even worried about. This group has been silent today on the devastation to the Gulf Coast avoiding attention to themselves.
This nations need for oil has not diminished and because of the need the oil drilling had to take place. This group is the conservationists themselves. The conservationists told our government that if an accident happens oil would never reach the shores if it was far enough off shore.
This has since proven to be false and if the well head was in 500 feet of water or less navy drivers could have closed the well head by hand and stopped the leak in hours or days and not months. All I ask is to follow the logic and you can not help but draw the same conclusions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
