I don't. I'll use either Firefox, Chrome, or Opera, all three of which ask me whether I want to save the password, etc. That I use to log on. They do, and in most cases keep me logged on.

("most cases" means, for example, that this Firefox I'm on right now remembered my Askville log-in but not my Yahoo e-mail log-in. ) In sum, I seem to be doing something with my browsers that you're not, but you are correct in realizing that you shouldn't have to be logging in from e-mail..

I don't know how your system is set up, but your browser can "forget" that it was logged in under various circumstances. That's a deliberate security feature, so that people who use your computer can't log into your account. With Askville, you can click a check box to have it remember that you're logged in if you're not worried about that.

Maybe you should check that. Or your browser may forcibly forget you were logged in, depending on how it's set up, as a security feature.

2 in my case, it logs me off about 24 hours after the last login.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
