Why do some East Indians think African-Americans / Africans share thier inferiority complex?

The real reason is this, because South Asia was originally slave countries; of course India during british rule and I think the real reason why indians want to be white or only mix with white people is because of power, wealth, and social status/acceptance. They don't want to be outcasts, misfits,or victims and they want to beable to fit in and have a good life. Me personally I don't think indians look that great with white light skin, they look more like wannabe mexicans or iranians with light skin, plus the light skin takes away indian peoples sharp facial features.

I'm an indian, but I grew up in a wealthy family, so I was never self-conscience about my skin color. Mostly the poor/uneducated people are obsessed with being white really bad. I think many times to it has to do with inferior complex, because if you analytically look at it, most indians/pakis/bengalis want to immigrate to White countries so bad.

The unfortunate part is most of the white people who are racist are the low class, poor, and in poverty. And a great civilization like india is trying to impress poor white people. How pathetic.

;-(.

I also like the same brown skin for which the South Asians are stereotyped to! That's why I tanned my skin and now I'm a bit dark these days and enjoying that :D.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
