Why do we celebrate Saint Patrick's Day?

St. Patrick's Day is a celebration of the life of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Born Maewyn Succat circa AD 387, he was a Welshman who was captured by pirates when he was sixteen and sold into slavery in Ireland. The experience moved him so much, he eventually went back to Ireland to spread Christianity.

We celebrate it because we need some kind of excuse to party and get drunk. Noone knows who in the heck St. Patrick was or what he represents... Hell, not even the Irish celebrate St.Patrick's day...

Because green is underrepresented, and we like to drink. Plus, how often do you get to drink green beer? I mean, on purpose?

We celebrate Saint Patrick's Day because h.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
