He sounds like a dead beat dad who ran into money troubles and couldn't think of another way out. Apparently, on top of back child support payments, he also owed thousands in credit debts and car payments. He had also filed for bankruptcy.
S "death" allowed him to get out of paying his debts plus allowed his son to claim his $151,000 insurance policy. He was actually worth more dead than alive. And you're right bernices, it is a bad message to send his son.
The word coward is ringing a bell to me. And if he did this "for the sake of his son" to make a buck off of insurance money, what does that teach the son? Can you tell this drives me nuts?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
