Why does a rabbit tolerate being on a person's lap & beign cuddled a lot more than the average cat does?

Most cats don't like being picked up. Rabbtis don't liek ittoo much either. However, once they get used to it, they don't mind, and will stay with you on your lap for a long, long time.

They will also let you keep petting them, whereas many cats will go away or even scartch or snap at you if thery don't like you petting them anymore. Why the difference? Are rabbits mroe social animals by nature, since they go with other rabbits in the wild?

Rabbits are prey animals, and so don't have the necessary assertiveness to tell their captors "screw you, I'm outta here" .

Also, rabbits are NOT rodents, they're lagomorphs newby 11 months ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
