Why does FOXPRO charge customers for sounds?

A. We have a lot of money invested in our sound libraries – not only the regular/standard library, but also the new Mark II Sounds – and we must protect and help develop that investment the best we can. A 16-sound pack sells for $25; that is less than $1.57 per sound.

Some companies out there sell individual sounds for more than the price of a 16-sound pack from FOXPRO. In most cases, we would need to sell thousands of copies of an individual sound just to break even on it. Every dollar that our customers spend on our sounds goes into recording new sounds.

We provide these libraries for our customers at an extremely fair price. We have never viewed ourselves as being in the “sounds business” or selling tapes/CD’s in attempt to make a profit – we sell our sounds at a very fair price to try and recover a fraction of the incurred costs that have been invested into them. We also have a free software package that you can download and install to your PC to help you program your XR6, FX3, ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
