Obviously, it DOES annoy them. Just read some of the answers here. Hearing/reading Beck's name makes their stomachs churn.
I'm not a Beck viewer, but I think it's hilarious.
Dr King's rally was a genuine grass roots movement - a march on Washington for Jobs (sound familiar?). It was organized by letter, telephone and personal contacts. Beck's jamboree and Revival Meeting was trailed by Fox (and widely reported even in the supposed Liberal Media).
Palin used it to make cheap political points and Beck went completely over the top calling on America to "turn to God" - will that solve the deficit and the war in Afghanistan? Neither of them are fit to lick the boots of Dr Martin Luther King.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
