Why does study of homeostesis misleading in ecology?

Answer I'm not sure of the context of this question, so more details would be helpful, but my initial impression would be this Homeostasis is the idea of all parts within an organism working together to create a balance - a regulation of the whole to maintain constant conditions or always return to what we would call an equilibrium state Ecology is a broad field, but if you take a whole ecosystem, the idea of homeostasis is misleading. There is no true constant or equilibrium state of an ecosystem if you follow an ecosystem over a long enough time period. Ecosystems go through dynamic states Fire, for example is natural and essential part to some ecosystems. It changes the entire ecosystem, and the ecosystem passes through several stages of succession following a fire.

Food Chains and Food Webs tell us: 1) how organisms relate to one another (what eats what) 2) how energy flows through living systems Ecology Essential Themes: 1. Human impact on the environment 2. All organisms relate to one another 3.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
