Why human beings need to travel to another planets while our mother Earth is more than enough?

It's a discovery, not a decision. The discovery has a lot of evidence.

Mother' has been surprisingly regular in her periods over quite a long time. Given that she is the result of a series of cataclysmic rock and ice collisions. So called 'global warming' is a serious matter.

It changes the weather, and no one knows better than the British... how important the weather is. Future generations will have to face the consequences of our failures, in respect of our management of the planet. But its not that simple.

I don't recall Samuel Pepys panicking about the price of my 'topping up' my 'leccy key'! Allow me to be honest...are we suddenly being asked to be responsible for a future which we have no control over anyway? And if we are.. why didn't our forbears afford us the same consideration...? I think these 'as yet unborn' generations are whining a bit too much.

It's simple. Rent a south facing, 1st floor flat with big windows, ensure the ground floor flat below you is rented by people from somewhere hot... then let God's magnificence heat your pad in the mornings, and your frozen neighbours below, blast heat through your floor in the evening. Cheap, sociable... and supportive of the planet.

Never mind all this 'mother earth' nonsense.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
