Why is my comet goldfishes fins stuck together almost like they are glued and therefore not fanned?

Your comet has Slime or Velvet disease, it will cause his to be lethargic. He probably has a slightly milky discolouration on his body and fins, like there is a 'film' covering him. This is a VERY common disease and is caused generally from poor water quality.

Your water could be poor from over feeding your fish, this is generally the reason for poor water quality. The best thing you can do now is to make sure the water is changed and clean, add a tiny bit of salt into the water (table or aquarium salt) and/or go to the petshop and buy some smile and/or velvet medication. Also make sure your water is well oxygenated, do you have a filter?

Best of luck!Iontach.

Oh... I am not aware about that illness for fishes. I just got a goldfish for my cousin as a gift.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
