Why won't a 1990 Nissan Maxima start after it rains?

The start problems after rain are almost always bad electrical wiring or bad distributor. Humidity can get through bad spark plug wires or crack in distributor and interfer with the spark. Check and replace your spark plug wires or ditributor.

Answer Had similar problem with a 1993 Maxima, it was the Mass Airflow sensor that was causing the problem. It would really seem to get bad after or while driving in the rain. Got one at the junkyard for $50.

, very easy to replace. Make sure if you get the car checked, they check for that because we had our car checked for the same problem at three different mechanics 5 times before the lead mechanic at the dealership figured out the problem. Answer the distributer is getting moisture, spray them with w d 40 and spark plugs.

Answer I would replace the cap first...it is cheaper and quicker....if the wires are over 3 years old..replace them also... Using WD-40 for a wet ignition is always a good idea...I keep a can with tissue in the trunk! Answer ok what I did was replace my distributor cap and rotor but what I did to save money was I went online to kragen.com and got their on line advertised price and went to the actual store and bought both the cap and rotor got it half of so 30 dollars instead of 60 and I got my car to start. Check the inside of your cap it might be broken mine was but on the outside it looked fine.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
