Why Would One Want To Commit Suicide Without Leaving A Suicide Note?

Not thinking clearly - or not able to leave a not due to their poor / extremely disterbed mental state.

I think because they don't really care about whether they leave a note or not. They want to die, they aren't looking to tell people why.

Only going from my own experience, but the note left for me by my husband was part of his attempt to be sure that I knew that I had hurt him, that (in his mind) it was my fault that he was choosing to take his own life - very sad.

If they are trying to make look as if it were an accident.

Ngureco, most people who commit suicide don't leave a note. They're usually too depressed. They figure nobody wants to know why they killed themselves anyway.

Most people aren't killing themselves to hurt others. If they wanted to hurt you, they'd hurt you. They want to get rid of their own pain and go someplace where no one can hurt them anymore.By the time someone feels that bad, they actually imagine you'll be relieved that they're gone, not sad.

This probably isn't thinking clearly, but it's how they're thinking.

I have felt and tried to attempt suicide alot.. and... I never left a note.. I did it out of my own mentality...

My 10 year old daughter tried to commit suicide. She did not leave a note, nor would she even been capable of it. Her attempt was a spur of the moment thing after a physical fight with her cousin.

She has been diagnosed with depression and felt the best thing would be to die, she did not think beyond that. I don't have a lot of personal knowledge of anyone else, but I do know that in her case, the consequences of her actions and what it would do to the family was the least of her concerns.

People who commit suicide generally want to inflict pain on others for real or imagined wrongs. People who are forced by some circumstance such as protecting others might not leave a note if it suits their reasoning or somehow becomes a message in a way, to their loved ones.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
