Of course I will be celebrating. My wife is half Irish and my daughter is born on St Paddy's Day. This has become a major holiday for my family.It is the official start of spring for us no matter what the weather is doing.

This St. Patrick's Day our neighborhood block is having an Irish Potato Party. Baked potatoes will be provided and everyone is bringing a topping of choice. Toppings include everything from bacon to broccoli!

There will be plenty of Green Beer and Green jello shooters for adults and green popsicles and Shamrock cookies for the little ones. Our creative neighborhood staff has come up with some great Irish family games. It's a great reason to celebrate our neighbors and families!

In just less than a week it will be St. Patrick's Day - a day filled with good cheer, good food, friends and festivities. As we don our green to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland, and to stir up a bit of revelry during the Lenten season, there are lots of wonderful places to do that here in Essex County. Where will you be going for corned beef and cabbage or a cold beverage?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
