It could be a corrupted ntdlr since it is windows xp and it is a very common problem of the os try to repair your windows by a windows xp cd boot or simply get your hard drive to another windows xp computer make it a slave hdd then copy paste the entire hidden files of the another hdd.

Here's what worked for me: 1) Turn the PC off. 2) Turn off the power -- i.e. , unplug the thing or turn off the power strip.

3) Wait a minute. 4) Turn on power & PC. 5) Start tapping F8 once the cursor starts blinking.

6) Hit "Repair my computer." 7) Follow the instructions. Your desktop should appear. If not, repeat 1 thru 7, like I did.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
