With business cards, do you prefer matte finish, or glossy finish?

I usually print my cards in matte finish, I'm curious what other people prefer and why. I think glossy looks more technological and modern, whereas matte looks a little more artsy and old-fashioned. Yes, I prefer artsy and old-fashioned matte finish also. I usually just print up my own, actually, on card stock, and also for other people, too. I don't really like shiny.

I think it depends on the card. If it just has information then matte would be my choice; however, my cards are a glossy finish I make jewelry and use natural stones and my business card have a picture of rocks in water that looks much nicer with a glossy finish.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
