Would it better to say, “I am getting better and better at math” rather than “I am excellent at math”?

A student who is weak in mathematics and wish to improve on it should say the self-affirmations as “I am excellent at mathematics” and also visualize himself as ALREADY being good at Math’s repeatedly. But the question is that such self-affirmation is not the truth (or not the truth yet). When he is telling himself that he is ALREADY being good at Math’s, he is actually “lying” to himself.

So, would it better to say, “I am getting better and better at math” rather than “I am excellent at math"? Asked by sindycj 15 days ago Similar questions: “I math” excellent Health > Mental Health.

Your logic is sound. Also, there have been studies done that have shown that students who consider themselves to be excellent in a subject are frequently worse in the subject than students who consider themselves to need improvement.

My affirmation would be "I can do this. I can learn this. " .

How about this i'm better at math then I use to be that sounds more eye catching the better and better phrase .

But now math is my weakness subject. I always tell myself I am excellent in math but actually NOT. I don't know this way is right or just lying myself only.

Therefore, I really need your opinion that would it better to say, “I am getting better and better at math” rather than “I am excellent at math"? Sindycj 14 days ago .

You could say even thou I still have issues with math i'm getting better.
