Would you prepare a vegan menu if your friend announce only a day prior they'll take their vegan friend to your Christmas dinner party?

No I would not prepare an entire vegan menu and I don't think the friend would expect you to either if they only let you know recently of the vegan guest. I don't think even with sufficient notice that I'd prepare a whole vegan menu for one person. Maybe you could add a couple vegan dishes to the menu so that the guest will have something to eat, but I'd make sure the friend knows that you're not preparing a vegan menu so they know what to expect.

No, I might try to come up with one or two vegan options for that person if I had time, but I would certainly (politely) ask my friend to bring something for their friend, After all, I've probably been planning my dinner party (with everything just so for months), 24 hours notice to make a change is not acceptable. Caterers will not normally make a change like that with that little notice!

If it was a reasonable amount of time and I cared about the guest, I would probably work something out. However, for 24 hours notice, I would ask my friend to arrange a restaurant delivery and give me the bill. I likely wouldn't be willing to spare the time and effort, but sparing the money would hopefully make up for it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
