Yes, UF Levin is a good law school UF Levin is ranked 41st in the nation by USNews and World reports. Considering the number of law schools in the country, that's a very good ranking. And having attended the Univ.

Of Florida myself, I can tell you that Gainesville is a great town. A little congested, but a very fun town to go to school. The University has tons of resources and once you're Florida resident the prices are extremely low compared to other schools.

US News ranks UF Levin # 41. This is tier 1 and very respectable. The best school to go to will usually be the highest ranked USNWR school you can get into with your LSAT and GPA, but if you plan on practicing in a certain geographic area, it is sometimes best to go to a lower ranked school that is respected in that area, especially if you will be saving a lot of money on student loans.

You will get pretty much the same education at any ABA approved law school, so what you really want to look at are your job opportunities once you get out. If you plan on practicing in Florida, and if you live there already, it's probably a perfect school for you- you will get in-state tuitition, and you will be able to make a lot of contacts in the area you will practice in. Unless you have the scores to go to a top 14 school, I'd do it.

A good website to visit is lawstudentparadise.com/forums - it's a forum for law and pre-law students. Sources: usnews.com/usnews/edu/grad/rankings/law/... .
