Everyone bothers with philosophy. But some people don't realize they do it. Take a basic question: Do you exist?
Everyone has an answer to this question. And, it doesn't matter what the answer is. To derive that answer, they used some philosophy.
Because they had to think about: 1-What does it mean for something to exist? (Metaphysics) 2-What am "I"? (Ontology) 3-How can I know these things?
(Epistemology) Now, many people may not use philosophy WELL, but they do use it.
I don't think anyone gets through life without bumping into philosophy every now and then... and again. What might be confused here is the idea many don't bother with this section anymore or ever. You can take your philosophy anywhere and use it anywhere.. and some take it where it can be appreciated and contributed to in a better way than other places.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
